Brooke Gregory, currently the Chief of Strategic Initiatives for Cherry Creek Schools (CCSD), has over 25 years of experience as a teacher, leader and mentor. In 2001, she introduced her school district to Glenn Singleton and Pacific Educational Group. Her leadership helped to initiate, deepen and sustain the systemic racial equity work that continues to be a cornerstone in CCSD today.
Brooke is part of the community engagement program called Leadership Aurora, which is sponsored by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Sisterhood of Philanthropists Impacting Needs (SPIN) through the Colorado Women’s Foundation, and she previously served as a liaison to Concerned Citizens About Minorities in Aurora (CCAMA). Brooke received the inaugural John W. Buckner Racial Equity Leadership Award from the Pacific Educational Group in 2015.
She has expertise in school and district leadership, community and student engagement, collaborative teams, employee recruitment/hiring/onboarding and retention, mediation and conflict resolution, student discipline redesign, program assessment, professional learning, as well as racial and gender equity.
Brooke completed undergraduate work in English Literature at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and graduate studies in education at the University of Colorado at Denver.
